Tor is releasing a new edition of Wild Cards I in November 2010. Originally published in 1987, the first volume of the shared-world superhero anthology was edited by George R. R. Martin and features stories by Martin, Howard Waldrop, Roger Zelazny, Walter Jon Williams, Melinda M. Snodgrass, Lewis Shiner, Victor Milán, Edward Bryant and Leanne C. Harper, Stephen Leigh and John J. Miller.
According to Martin, the new edition features cover art (above) by Michael Komarck and three new stories from Michael Cassutt, David D. Levine and Carrie Vaughn.
As of this writing, the Wild Cards series numbers some twenty volumes, with more on the way.
